Staff Gathering (July 29th)

Rattan Inn marked the valued contribution and efforts from employees with a staff gathering organized by Front Office Department and Engineering Department. The employees enjoyed an array of activities including games, Opera Van Batak, birthdays and an employee of the month celebration.
 

 

 

 

 

Dinner and Inspiring Session with James Gwee (July 24th)

A truly inspiring session with James Gwee that we had on Saturday night has been empowered and improved knowledge for all the guests. Rattan Inn invited sister companies, corporate and media to dine and afterwards gain valuable knowledge from James Gwee. James’s dynamic, friendly and informal approach, combined with his unique combination of Bahasa and English is so full of spontaneity and humor that his session in Rattan Inn that night was a truly enjoyable learning experience.

 

 


 

All about Borneo (Photo Exhibition) from July 17th – August 17th

For participating to perpetuate the Banjar’s culture and also for charity, Rattan Inn held a photo exhibition for a month. The opening ceremony was attended by Hesli Junianto as Head of Banjarmasin Tourism Agency. Some photographers from South Borneo Photography Club who contributed on this event were gathered as well. Our special guest was Kristupa Saragih, a well known professional photographer in Indonesia as well as in South East Asia.
 

 

 

 

 

BB: After Break

June 25th 2010 As appreciation to our bookers, we held a gathering party with theme ”Brain and Behaviour : After Break ” or ”BB” After Break. Rattan Inn invited the bookers, secretaries, and corporate to relax awhile and get together as well as gain knowledge from our sharing session. We had Diana Rosianti, Dewi Damayanti Said, Yuly Yana (HRD Manager) and Adelia Winda Hapsari. They shared tips and experience of their life as a public figure.

 

 

 

 

 

Media Gathering June 2010

Still on World Cup euphoria, as part of our media engagement program, we held “Nonton Bareng” at Le Bistro Pub on June 17th.  It was a more fun way to get together and all guests were cheering for their favorite teams.

CSR – Rattan Inn Peduli Pendidikan

Rattan Inn has a big concern to improve the quality of education. The effort implemented by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that has aim for open bigger access for community surrounding Rattan Inn. On June, we had six foster children from different schools surrounding Rattan Inn. Management hoped this program will continuously doing by Rattan Inn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mental Training

May 20th 2010, It was a great and challenging experience as well as refreshing for management to have a mental training during midnight at Rindam Banjarbaru. The training was conducted to build teamwork of Rattan Inn management.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leadership Training

May 5th 2010, Training empowers employees and adds value to the organization as a whole. It eases the burden on management when employees can alleviate situations immediately before they boil over. The leadership training is expected to be the basis for employee development, because many possess the capacity for leadership, but only those who cultivate it will ever become truly effective leaders.

It’s an event where Rattan Inn and our friends and colleagues in the media houses can get together in a more fun way. No press conferences, no formal things – just Rattan Inn and all guests having a good time. Good food, good music, and good companions. This May, we had everyone to get wet at the pool with games and doorprizes.

 “Outbond to Batakan beach which held on 27th of March has many purposes; thanking employees for their hard work, establishing friendships outside office walls, marking an important company milestone, motivating employees and building teamwork. Regardless of those purposes, all employees had great fun during this outbound and great photo session as well.”

 

 

 

 

 

Service Excellence Training

 

March 2010, Good pace, personable, good sense of humor, well organized, useful and informative, handles "challenging" personalities very well. That’s all about our service excellence training which conducted by Human Resources Department. All employees will get a chance to involve in this training and gain clarity of what to do in their jobs by creating specific strategies, procedures and "next steps" based on the created Customer Service for Excellence Model. This process will establish good customer service habits at workplace. The result will be individual plans and tactics for how to work with their customers so that the customers feel that they are "well taken care of."

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

K3 Training

 

March 10 -11th 2010, to ensure employee’s safety and health, Rattan Inn’s Management conducted training to improve skill and knowledge about how important safety at workplace.

February 20th 2010, It's no secret that skill development provides employees with valuable knowledge they need to perform their duties proficiently. This training empowers employees and adds value to the organization as a whole. From a guest complaint to a problem with a room - whatever the situation is, when employees can resolve issues, it reduces stress for everyone.

 

 

 

 

Beauty Class

 

February 4th 2010, the ladies had a ton of fun playing with those make up tools. Rattan Inn ran a two-day beauty class for employees. The two-day program taught how to do facial, massage and also focused on grooming.

 

 

 

English Class

Rattan Inn runs regularly English Class for employees. In this 60 minutes class we will practice English conversation. Rattan Inn’s management realizes the urgency of language skill nowadays. The class itself will be a place to learn common expressions that are likely to be encountered by hotel employees.

 

 

 

Happy Birthday, Rattan Inn

On the 22nd of January, Rattan Inn Banjarmasin has celebrated its 3rd birthday. The closest hotel’s friends, sister companies, medias, governments came to the beloved hotel in this joyful day, gathered to congratulate Rattan Inn! The entertainment program and the all-prize lucky draw have been offered to the guests. This event called Corporate Gathering is a blend of modern style with traditional atmosphere from panting performance to welcome guest till easy listening songs from our guest band. For three years of his being Rattan Inn has became the true home for many people. The cozy, modern, and friendly atmosphere of the Rattan Inn was estimate at one’s true worth by guests as well as celebrities, political and representatives of the world-brand companies.

BLOOD DONORS

Management & Staff of Rattan Inn Banjarmasin coordinated blood donation drives as one of its corporate social responsibility initiatives to the society. The Blood Donation was conducted on Wednesday (20/01) in collaboration with Indonesia

Red Cross and in the event of Rattan’s 3rd Anniversary which fall on 22nd of January 2010.

January 23rd, Management & Staff of Rattan Inn Banjarmasin visited Panti Jompo Trisna Werda Budi Sejahtera. We distributed donations from employees, sister companies and our sponsor. FUN WALK

 

Fun Walk on Rattan's 3rd Anniversary is a celebreation of courage and commitment. It has become a funtaztic event, with hundreds coming from all accross Banjarmasin to participate.

 

 

 

The Event begins with a 4k walk through Jl. A. Yani, and then going back Rattan Inn. It has a family - friendly focus with entertainment, food bazaar and lucky draw prizes.
